Pacific Roundtable on Industry, Society and Management

PRISM or the Pacific Roundtable on Industry, Society and Management is a not-for-profit research association, legally registered with the State of California. PRISM was established in 1986 by Professors Mark Fruin, Michael Gerlach, and Christena Turner, with the help of MITI's Japan Economic Foundation. The purposes of PRISM are the promotion and diffusion of contemporary research on Pacific Rim business, economics, and political economics with special reference to issues of U.S.-Japan relations. Members of PRISM are elected based on the recommendations of the existing members. PRISM meetings occur bi-annually, usually on the West Coast.
