The PACIFIC Dictionary of International Trade and Business (PACIFIC-DITB) is an experimental hypertext dictionary that covers the fields of international trade, international business, international financial economics, and general macroeconomics. An easy-to-use search interface enables users to quickly locate interesting information, and hypertext links in individual dictionary entries allow users to explore further related information. Currently, about 2000 items are defined, providing a total of about 4000 hyperlinks. Definitions have been compiled from several primary sources. Each definition was marked-up to the WWW document language HTML through sofware developed by Werner Antweiler.

The PACIFIC-DITB is still under development. A further set of about 500 international trade and business terms will become available later in 1996.
